Transactional Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate
San Diego, CA Direct-Hire $150000.00 - $190000.00 Hybrid

Job Description

We are partnering with a nationally respected boutique law firm that is expanding its commercial real estate finance practice in San Diego. The firm is seeking a mid-level or senior Associate Attorney with strong experience representing commercial lenders in non-litigation real estate finance transactions.

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys coming from sophisticated transactional environments who want to continue working on complex commercial real estate finance matters in a more balanced, collaborative setting.

Ideal candidates will have experience drafting and negotiating loan documents, coordinating closings, and managing a steady pipeline of deals involving multifamily, industrial, retail, office, hotel, and other commercial asset classes. Experience with agency lending (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, multifamily) is particularly valuable and may allow for remote flexibility.

Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $190,000 for highly qualified mid-level attorneys, with higher compensation available for senior-level candidates. The firm maintains a reasonable billable target of 1800 hours and offers strong benefits, including a 401(k) contribution and defined benefit plan.

If you have 4+ years of commercial real estate finance experience and are interested in learning more about this opportunity, feel free to reach out directly for a confidential conversation.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status. We consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with state and local laws, including the California Fair Chance Act, City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance.
